The model 2003 mainly was built by son Thomas.

Primarily we wanted to construct a simple demonstration model to explain the function of the separate radio control and driving components.
From this "mobile framework" Thomas made a good looking runabout which is suitable to give proof someones "driving skill".

In the style of a Go-Cart a frame with a simple servo-driven stearing was built; the in fact necessary stearing trapeze was neglected at this model.

The rear axle is stiff and by locking or dismantling one wheel it is possible to power (according to a Go-Cart) both or only one rear wheel.

As drive again a model low cost motor is used.

For fastening these motors have 2 tap holes M3 at intervals of 25mm; thus the motor offhand can be mounted to the MEKANIK- and MECCANO/MARKLIN grid.
If the motor is mounted to a gear plate, also a suitable gear reduction is simply to realize.

In the present case the motor operates with only one reduction onto the rear axle, by what the relatively lightweight model gets a remarkable speed.
