  In 2000 the already in 1999 started model of the Tower-Bridge was completed.
This model was built up with the black colored pre war Märklin material; the plan is illustrated in one of the old Märklin instruction books.

But for various reasons it needed to be modified:
The length of the bridge is about 2,8 meter. For a better handling contrary to the plan it was built up in 3 parts.
Because of a missing 25 hole balustrade part the bridge had to be shortened for some cm what resulted into further modifications for a proper appearance.
With the aim to use the model as a toy, it had been modified in this way, that our model train is able to cross the bridge.
